Highgear
- Highgear is a Mini-Con from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Highgear is one of many power-enhancing Mini-Cons scattered across Earth. A member of the Red Mini-Con Team, when Powerlinxed to a larger Transformer, Highgear enables them to make brief bursts of incredible speed on land. However, he does not have the energy capacity of Fullspeed, and as such must recharge more often.
A natural gearhead (no, not that kind), Highgear lives to take apart and reconstruct engines of all stripes, all in the pursuit of greater speed. Well, speed and chicks, to be completely honest, but he probably has to do something about being constantly smeared with grease to do anything about the latter. He also dreams of finding a planet where they do nothing but race, but surely this Valhalla of velocity is the stuff of pure, crazed fantasy.[1]

Highgear's Mini-Con storage panel was discovered. Following the defeat of Megatron, he and the other Mini-Cons returned to Cybertron and helped form the Matrix Cannon, Nemesis Shield and Vanguard Booster, giving the Autobots the power needed to destroy Unicron. Transformers
