Fiction

TransTech

The original Nebulon was a low-tech drone created by Stepper, built because he was envious of his brother's personal Targetmaster. He wasn't actually able to talk on his own, but Stepper's ventriloquist abilities made everyone believe he was a sentient being. During a confrontation against a team of Go-Bots, the original Nebulon was destroyed, and a rift brought Stepper to Axiom Nexus. There, he met another incarnation of Nebulon... though this one was truly was a living, talking 'bot! Not only that, but this version of Nebulon proved himself to be a cunning manipulator, reversing the puppet/puppet-master roles in the two 'bots' relationship. Stepper's profile

With both Stepper and Nebulon stranded in Axiom Nexus, where the pair managed to earn the number eight spot on Cybertron's most wanted list. They fell in with a crew led by C-81, who planed to construct an interuniversal gate in order to run an "off-the-books travel agency." During the final raid necessary to build the gate, the group was caught by the local police force and imprisoned within the offworlder maximum security prison. Within the prison, Stepper felt ill-at-ease with all the tough inmates around him. Stepper comforted him, explaining that so long as Stepper stuck around with C-81 and Battletrap, no one would mess with them. Then Oilmaster messed with them.

Thankfully, the situation was diffused by the arrival of Packrat, and the whole lot of them became allies. Working together, the group made their way out of the prison. Once outside, they found the whole of Axiom Nexus depowered, and so they decided to use the cover of darkness to reach the city's underground tunnel system. There, they met Lift-Ticket, Spy-Eye and Burn Out, who took off. Attempting to follow them, the group found themselves smack dab in the middle of a Waruder nest. Nebulon served as Stepper's gun, and blasted his fair share of Waruders before their sheer numbers forced the group to retreat.

Nebulon next found himself in the back of C-81's vehicle mode, where he overlooked Scalpel dissecting one of the Waruder "pilots." The Waruders caught up to them eventually, and Cybertron's most wanted found themselves cornered. The timely arrival of General Optimus Prime, Sergeant Hound, Lift-Ticket and Burn Out turned the tables once more. The fighting finally came to an end when the Waruders were convinced to leave for another Cybertron, one where they could feed without having to fight. Nebulon and the rest of the group were allowed to go free as a thanks for their part in quashing the Waruder invasion. Cybertron's Most Wanted
