Boom Tube

Boom Tube is a Decepticon-aligned Mini-Con from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Boom Tube is the leader of the Interstellar Raiders Mini-Con Team. She uses a ditzy exterior to lull opponents into a false sense of security, but is in reality a highly focused Mini-Con. She is loyal to Spacewarp, augmenting her through powerlinxing or by combining with her teammates into the Transwarp Blaster.

Fiction

Ask Vector Prime

Boom Tube and her teammates Jump Drive and Starburst were frozen in stasis lock in their combined form. Spacewarp won them as the prize in a game of high-stakes Triad held on Monacus. When she and Foldspace revived the team through the use of proton energy, the team swore allegiance to her. Ask Vector Prime

Toys

Universe (2003)

  • Spacewarp
Spacewarp was an unproduced Universe store exclusive, slated to come with a redeco of the Space Mini-Con Team as well. Even though she was initially intended as a Toys"R"Us exclusive, no retail chain ultimately ended up wanting to carry her, so Spacewarp was shelved. She was among several proposed exclusives that were ultimately put into retail limbo during the waning of the Universe line. The Spacewarp concept was ultimately released as one of the first exclusives available for purchase to Transformers Collectors' Club members as Astrotrain, though with a redeco of the Giant Planet Mini-Con Team instead of a redeco of the Space Mini-Con Team.

Notes

  • Spacewarp and all of her Mini-Cons have names deriving from fictional methods of FTL travel. Boom Tube's name comes from the method often employed in [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}DC Comics|{{#if:||DC Comics}}]], and is also a reference to her role as the barrel of the Transwarp Blaster.
