The original Japanese title uses "イカした" (Ika shita). This is a pun—the phrase means "cool" or "amazing" (it's where the slang term ikemen or "hunk" comes from), while ika means "squid". This is difficult to translate into English, as attested by the title of this article.
Bighorn seems unable to breath underwater. This could be the result of the Technorganic bodies introduced to Cybertron in Beast Machines.
