The Bots deal with a group of investors who want to build a vacation resort in Griffin Rock, while Cody deals with feeling invisible around everyone.

Synopsis

Cody's looking for someone to play Burnsball with, but everyone else is busy. Dani's going to go hang out with Taylor, Graham's working on some sort of project, Kade is napping, Chase is watching a movie, Blades is writing a blog post, Boulder is gardening, and Heatwave is letting some kids climb on him to pick apples. Cody resigns himself to practicing alone. As he departs the garden sadly, a pair of investors walk past, and there's an explosion by the clock tower.

The Rescue Bots intervene to protect people and plants from the debris and fire, and Cody is going down to the clock tower to help when his hoverboard's batteries die. By the time he arrives, the rest of the team has already arrived; Chief reassures him that he doesn't need to help. Priscilla Pynch, recently returned from a trip to Europe, is dragged over to the explosion site briefly by her dog Wi-Fido, and then away again. Mayor Luskey, trying to convince the investors that the explosion isn't a real deterrent, drags Chief Burns over to reassure them; the investors see the Rescue Bots and are immediately sold. When they show their plans to the team, though, Kade points out that much of the space they want to use is already being used for something else, and Graham says that the rest is protected wetlands. The investors aren't worried about that, though.

Cody heads up to Doc's lab to get a replacement battery for his hoverboard. Doc is working on some left-behind Velgrox technology that lets anything touching it turn invisible; when Doc walks away to deal with CeCe, Cody accidentally puts it in along with the new battery. Meanwhile, Mrs. Neederlander is unhappy about the mail she's gotten asking her to sell her home, as is the rest of the block. The letters are from "GRPP Inc.", which nobody recognizes; however, the team can't look into it too much because there's a flood at the Hall of Inspiration.Cody has become invisible, and attempts to navigate downtown with limited success; once he realizes he's invisible whenever he's touching the hoverboard, though, he decides to play around with it a bit.

At the Hall of Inspiration, the team manages to stop the leak, but they're not sure what caused the leak until they notice the carefully drilled holes in the pipes. Dani calls to relay an extremely unhappy message from Mayor Luskey, who doesn't think the investors will want to redevelop the town this way. When the team says they don't want it redeveloped, he calls a town meeting for that night.

Back at the firehouse, Cody decides to go get some chips and watch TV while still invisible. After freaking everyone out by turning on the TV, he is reassured that his family does care about him when they lament that they didn't care about him as much as they should have. Then they're called away by a problem at the wetlands. Cody is wandering around town when he sees Madeline Pynch lead the investors into her office; he follows them into the meeting, where she discusses her plans for the Griffin Rock Luxury Island Resort, and that she's been starting all the emergencies. He's about to leave to tell someone when he runs into the door and knocks the Velgrox invisibility chip off his hoverboard, revealing himself to her. Her chauffeur begins to chase him.

Meanwhile, at the wetlands, the "problem" turns out to be a large oil spill. Cody calls Chief to tell him the story, and they meet back at the firehouse to plan. Graham discovers that GRPP Inc. has permits to demolish an "unsafe property" which turns out to be Mrs. Neederlander's house, the only problem of which is that it needs new paint. The bots go to check things out and discover no problems until the ground suddenly starts shaking; Boulder digs up the earthquake machine and the trouble stops. Later, Cody goes to Madeline's office to see if he can find the Velgrox chip.

Mayor Luskey and the investors are talking when Chief walks in and says that Madeline Pynch is working with the investors. They ask why that would be a problem, confirming her involvement. Out front, the bots all activate their own Velgrox invisibility chips, and Cody runs in to say that ghosts are coming to dissuade the investors. The invisible bots wreak havoc, quickly convincing the investors to leave. Back at the Pynch mansion, Priscilla is lounging in her room when her mother appears on the balcony.
