Whiskers

Whiskers is a lion from the Rescue Bots portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Among the many animals in Griffin Rock Zoo is a cross-eyed lion whom the Rescue Bots have dubbed Whiskers, though the name has yet to catch on with the rest of the townsfolk. His vision problems don't seem to slow him down any, and occasionally he has gotten loose from his enclosure.

Cody Burns took a picture of the lion to send to Boulder. Unfortunately Boulder got the idea in his head that the team needed a pet, and with Blades's help, broke into the zoo in search of one. He decided to select the lion, whom he dubbed "Whiskers", but Whiskers took the opportunity to escape the zoo. The two Rescue Bots were forced to hunt through Griffin Rock for him. They almost cornered him in an alley, but the next morning, Chase and Chief Burns found him up a tree in Mrs. Neederlander's yard. Though Dani and Blades started chasing him with a cage, he slipped through their fingers.

Whiskers encountered Cody as the boy cycled to school, and luckily Frankie and her forcefield bracelet were nearby to rescue him. Whiskers next set his sights on the lemurs which had also escaped from the zoo. While he was chasing the lemurs nibbling the food in Boulder's scoop, Blades managed to capture him in their cage. He was subsequently rehoused in the "Mayor Luskey Enclosure". Walk on the Wild Side

Whiskers menaced Nancy Morrison when she fell into his lion enclosure, but after her rescue, he licked maple syrup off Boulder. Prescott's Bots Poopsie somehow got into the lion enclosure and was almost lion chow, but Servo fortunately managed to intercept her and exchanged her for a large steak.
