Arcee (Kre-O)

Arcee is an Autobot from the brick-built world of Kre-O.

Arcee is an expert sniper who's quick on the draw and never misses. As one of Optimus Prime's most trusted officers, she's always one of the first to throw herself into the action whenever Earth is in danger. She is bitter rivals with Airachnid.

Arcee was one of the Autobots who left Cybertron in the Ark in search for energy blocks to alleviate their hunger. Thanks to the boarding of the Ark by Decepticons, the Ark crashed and the Transformers fell into a four million year-long sleep. They woke up to a world filled with blocks. Kreon Story

As part of the second Collection of blindpacked Micro-Changers, Arcee is a Kreon patterned after Generation 1 Arcee. She can be rebuilt into a sports car. She uses the Ironhide style helmet.

This Collection was still in circulation at "dollar" stores and drug stores up through 2015. They eventually lost the individual-identifying bag codes, but other changes were hidden inside the bag. The 2015 releases replaced the 2x4 logo stand-brick with a new 3x4 logo plate. The Kreon was also given the slight retooling to the arm seen in the 2014 Kreons, making the "cuff" parts more sharp-cornered and better adapted to being used as studs. Some of the add-on pieces may also be slightly off-color, possibly due to a change in factories in mid-production.

The Command Center playset includes a Kreon of Arcee based on Prime Arcee. She uses the Knock Out style helmet. There's also a blue Wheeljack backpack-wing in the set that is not technically hers, but can be added to her to make her jsut that little bit more like the show model.

The set also comes with Prime-style Kreons of Bumblebee, Ratchet, Shockwave, and Knock Out, and a brick-built Rippersnapper beast and Optimus Prime truck.

This version of Arcee, voted "Prom Queen" by the Kreon Class of 1984, has much more cartoon-based tampographs than her Micro-Changer version, including a nose! She uses the Ironhide style helmet.

She was only available in a pack of 30 Kreons dubbed "Class of 1984"... despite the fact that Arcee wasn't introduced until 1986. Huh. This set was made for sale at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. Remaining stock was to be sold at Hasbro Toy Shop online, but the set sold out at the show.

In 2016, Collection 2 was re-released in a whole new production run for Dollar General stores in the US as part of a large collection of re-released Kre-O sets. But where most of these releases are nigh-identical to the originals, the re-released Micro-Changer blind-bags use the almost-entirely-retooled 2015 Kreon, with slightly-differently-hued plastics than the originals. (It is possible for some of the add-on pieces to be in the older hues.) Arcee's tampographs are almost totally unchanged, but the white paint is considerably more faded.

Sadly, this release has no individual-identification code on the bag, requiring you to use the feel-through-the-bag method or just buy blind and hope.
