Cliffjumper (Kre-O)

Cliffjumper is an Autobot from the brick-built world of Kre-O.

Cliffjumper doesn't want to hear you say, "Oh you look just like Bumblebee"! What's so great about Bumblebee? He can't punch as well as me! Then again, all Cliffjumper does is fight.

Cliffjumper put on a cunning disguise and joined Wheeljack in infiltrating a Decepticon worksite. Though the pair were quickly surrounded, they were merely acting as a diversion. The pair used their umbrellas to shield themselves from the ensuing grilled cheese explosion. Quest for Energon, Part 2

This set features Cliffjumper busting through a Decepticon checkpoint. Cliffjumper uses the same helmet and chest tampographs as the Bumblebee Kreon, but cast in red with his horns painted white. He comes with a translucent blue energon pistol, an alternate energon chest piece, and a buildable ATV to drive.

Part of the second assortment of "Custom Kreons", Cliffjumper comes with a buildable parts rack on which to hang/store his many many extra pieces. The plastics of his torso, arms and legs have a metal-flake sheen, and his similarly-shiny tampographs are lifted from Custom Kreon Bumblebee, rather than being based on the original Cliffjumper toy. His "normal" helmet and long rifle are chromed, plus he comes with an extra clear-plastic helmet, torso and legs. He also has a pair of extra arms (originally from the Kre-O Battleship aliens), plus a buildable sniper-cannon (made with the aformentioned chrome rifle), a buildable double-bladed staff, buildable dual-blaster backpack, and the Wheeljack-style wing-pack.

Though widely solicited, this wave of Custom Kreons ultimately never saw release outside of the Hasbro Toy Shop online store and Chinese-market distribution circles.

This version of Cliffjumper, voted "Most Fearless" by the Kreon Class of 1984, has much more toy-based tampographs than his prior versions. He uses the Bumblebee-style helmet.

He was only available in a pack of 30 Kreons dubbed "Class of 1984". This set was made for sale at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. Remaining stock was to be sold at Hasbro Toy Shop online, but there was no remaining stock, as the set sold out at the show.

Part of the "red box" line for discount stores in the US like Dollar General and Big Lots, this "Brick Box" is just the "Decepticon Ambush" set repackaged and sold for a mere $5. Good deal! As with all the Brick Boxes, this set lacks the instruction manual. It does retain the decals for the ATV and light post, however.
