Jazz (Movie)
| This article is about the Autobot hipster from the live action movie. For the original cool cat, see Jazz. |
- Jazz is an Autobot from the Movie continuity family.

First Lieutenant Jazz is one happy go lucky autobot. Good natured and always able to take things in his stride, he provides a decent contrast to the more serious Ironhide or Prime. He's also a talker, something Prime and Ironhide like to tease him about. He might be the smallest autobot but he's by no means a coward. His only real complaint is that he gets stuck fighting the small ones.

- Jazz transforms into a silver Pontiac Solstice Custom Hartdtop. He carries an ambidextrous blaster that transforms into a sniper rifle (refered to as a "telescoping sword" on the packaging for whatever reason), which may also be clipped to his rear spoiler when in vehicle mode. In robot mode, this same rear spoiler section may be folded onto his back or worn on either shoulder as a shield. An interesting undocumented feature is the hinge joint on the front of the "sword" can attach to the shield's hinge joint, creating a seperate sniper rifle mount when positioned properly (matching Jazz's covert operations status), or an ambidextrous shoulder-mounted canon of sorts.
- Automorph feature: Pushing the car roof down onto his back and locking it into place raises his head and slides his chest panels into proper position for the robot mode. This, like the weaponry above, is not documented at all, so one must be careful to not press the chest and the back at the same time.

- Jazz has a second front bumper located on his car mode roof. No one knows what good that does.
