Anti-Vocationist League
- The Anti-Vocationist League are a guerilla group from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Anti-Vocationist League (AVL) stands in opposition to the Functionist Council, supporting the freedom of the oppressed. Many of them have "redundant" alt-modes, such as data-sticks, the Lunabots from the astro class, and those who have altered themselves to look like the fabled Useless One.

IDW Generation 1 continuity
Twelve-of-Twelve and his Functionaries were rounding up AVL dissidents when they encountered the universally-displaced crewmembers of the Lost Light and naturally assumed they were simply more or the rabble-rousers to be arrested. Other AVL members, led by Clicker, attempted a rescue, but only succeeded in proving they were terrible at the whole resistance-fighter thing, needing to be saved by the Lost Light crew. Clicker then revealed the AVL's base of operations was Cyberutopia. Anomie
Or at least, that's what it was called - in actuality, it was the city of Kalis.
Apparently, they had a presence on pre-Great War Cybertron, with Chromedome mentioning that some of their number had been attracted to join the Decepticons Patternism. Exactly what happened to them in the original timeline is not known.
