AT-ATs are vehicles from the Star Wars universe.

AT-ATs are massive, four-legged war machines used by the Empire to fight their respective enemies, the Rebels. The vehicles are armored against all conventional weaponry, and have the ability to transform into humanoid forms if necessary.

In the Imperial forces, AT-ATs are piloted by certified AT-AT drivers. [1][2]

Fiction

Star Wars Transformers

When the Empire used AT-ATs to attack Echo Base, they met resistance in the form of Luke Skywalker. Skywalker's Snowspeeder's blasters were useless against the walkers' armor, so he transformed his vehicle into its robot mode to fight them toe-to-toe.[3]

Toys

Star Wars Transformers

  • AT-AT Driver / AT-AT (2007)
    • Accessories: Missile launcher/gun, missile, AT-AT Driver figure
This AT-AT toy transforms into a robot based on an AT-AT Driver. Its head-guns detach to become a hand-held missile launcher in robot mode, and its cockpit opens up to seat the little pilot toy included with all Star Wars Transformers toys.

Crossovers

  • Imperial Trooper / AT-AT (2008)
    • Accessories: Missile launcher/gun, missile
A retool of the previous toy with a new head, this AT-AT is decorated with splotches of green forest camouflage. It does not come with a pilot mini-figure. This figure was released at the tail end of the initial Star Wars Crossovers line, shortly before the line was rebranded to bring focus to the Clone Wars animated film and TV series. As a result, it saw incredibly poor distribution.
