Sorry is my question seems silly, but I'm new to this whole Wiki thing. I recently purchased a Jazz movie toy from Target. My question is: Would it be legal/ethical to post the toy's bio text in the otherwise lacking article section? Further, would it be permitted to expound a bit on the toy's features? SilentSooYun

Legal? Well, yeah. Ethical? Odd question. But either way, that's not something we do here. We have a pretty firm policy against cut-and-paste information from other sources, be it official bios or even wikipedia. Sum up the character in your own words. --M Sipher 14:36, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
I think he should wait until the street date, for the reasons stated under "Unofficial releases" on the Policy page. --Sntint 17:13, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Fuck 'Street date' and the horse it rode in on. -Derik 18:01, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Ignoring its writer being an admin, I don't think off-site webcomics determine site policy. But what does everybody else say? --Sntint 18:14, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
I understand and concede posting the bio, and I agree it would be best to wait for a more official movie source for more Jazz info. But would it still be acceptable to update the toy info? This is the actual toy, after all. SilentSooYun 18:27, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
That's probably safe. Hasbro's officially released at least pics of the toy (which are frequently the basis for toy write-ups,) go ahead. -Derik 18:30, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

We don't just post verbatim transcripts, so... no. You can use it to write a proper bio for him though. -Derik 14:34, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

The very last trivia... it's not accurate. There is a close up of his face after Megatron blasts him with his canon. It's barely 2 sec. long, but it's there. Kyouraku-taichou 23:08, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
