- Hollywood, land of film and television, is part of the city.
- it is a fairly common misconception that the Los Angeles comment in Revenge of The Fallen was made in reference to the battle of Mission City, it is more likely that it refers to the Autobots crash landing since multiple LA landmarks can be seen when the Autobots arrive such as Dodger stadium and Griffith observatory. Sams drivers license shown in Revenge of The Fallen also shows his home town to be Los Angeles.
