Brownlion (ブラウンライオン Buraunraion) is the officer of the ground assault unit in the Laser Beast army, of the Lion Clan. Brownlion is a well-respected commander, with a keen sense of strategy between offense and defense. His constant presence on the front lines, as indicated by his tanned skin, and his immense strength brings him the respect of all.

Indeed, Brownlion's Spark Motion Laser is reserved only for the strongest; lesser beings are unable to effectively utilize it.

Brownlion was one of the Laser Beasts who were unhappy with how their society was growing increasingly callous and machine-like, so he and some others left their underground empire and traveled to the surface of Beast where they founded a new civilization that would become the Beastformers.
