Deaspider
- Deaspider is a Beastformer from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Deaspider (デスパイダー Desupaidā), also called Deaspa (デスパ Desupa), is one of the many Beastformers who joined the insurgent army under Alligatron raised by Galvatron in order to aid his Decepticons in conquering the formerly-peaceful planet Beast. While he looks scary, he's actually a rather quiet and reserved person who enjoys handicrafts. His role in the Decepticon-allied Beastformer forces is special attack soldier, and he fights by setting traps using his natural ability to produce a robust adhesive fiber and using his Death Binder, an MVP Weapon that can weld objects together. Deaspider holds the rank of Emperor of Hogland, under King Hedgehog, and was born in the woodlands of North Snarl.
Fiction
Beastformers manga
Deaspider traveled to underneath the dried up Lake Sagan to search for the Three Wise Ones' Water Gem of Stillness together with White Leo, Bowdog, Bluehorse and Badshark. The mission had several possible outcomes and the Beastformers may have either succeeded or been forced to retreat by a giant scorpion or the mysterious enemy Surr, who would battle them for the gem if they found it. In one outcome, Deaspider attempted to use his Death Binder to dig for the Water Gem to little effect, while in another he was responsible for sending the giant scorpion fleeing.
