Uh, isn't that Llama Triplechanger from the Armada Comics named Dropkick?

Drones vs. Characters?

Just wanted to take peoples pulse on these game/toy guys. I almost feel that the game drone armies are different enough things from the single unique characters presented on the tech-specs to rate seperate entreis. Until there's more to say about either drones or guys it probably makes just as much sense to keep them the same, but I was just kind of curious about peoples feelings on the matter.

Should either get presidence? Two disperate versions of the same core "being" like Comic vs Cartoon Grimlock? Or is it instead like Tankor vs. Tank Drones: Two seperate things that need seperate pages? Thoughts? --ZacWilliam 13:11, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

I was actually thinking about this, and my *personal* feeling is that "if it has a face, it's a unique dude." So, for instance, Dropkick has a face (he actually looks kind of Grimlock-ish), but Dreadwing and Payload do not, so while I see Dropkick as a unique guy, Dreadwing and Payload are drones. There's no "unique" marking on the CCG, though, so who can say? -hx 13:20, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure that works given characters like Shockwave (Movie) who is definately a unique character. Plus, the Allspark game has established that basically: "face = Autobot" and "lens = Decepticon," of course the toyline has promptly contridicted this by giving us a Decepticon Dropkick with a face. I think one of the biggest questions is: Are these sigular living characters coexisting with armies of Drones based on their design OR Are these singular living characters in one branch of the Movie continuity family and armies of Drones in others? Character and Drone versions coexist or not?--ZacWilliam 15:49, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
Dropkick is an individual-- with a common bodytype.
All those 'bots on Battle for the Allspark- aren't called Dropkick, they all have unique names.
The game proper establishes that the legions of lookalikes can have different color schemes-- but the tech limitations of the online game don't permit this.
Really- the only question remaining is whether those legions of lookalikes are sparked transformers, or drones. The only drone-user we know of in the moviverse is Mainframe. (I suspect the answer is that theyr'e all individuals, and that'll be established by getting recolors.) -Derik 16:06, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
The game refers to the "generics" on both sides as drones. --M Sipher 19:57, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
