Merchandise

If you're gonna stand in line for a set of these, best protect ya neck.
  • Bait x Wu-Tang Clan x Transformers (July 19, 2018)
Part of vinyl manufacturer Bait's Transformers-branded offerings, this set of figurines features Generation One Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Soundwave in a "superdeformed" style in the Wu-Tang Clan's black-and-yellow color scheme. The Wu-Tang Clan sigil appears prominently on each figurine, alongside the Autobot & Decepticon sigils. Individual figures were sold for $30, while the set of four was a hundred dolla dolla bills, y'all.

The figurines were available individually or as a box set at Bait's booth at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, or at their retail location in San Diego.

Notes

  • Extremely long-time members of the Transformers fandom may recall that BotCon 1997 was disrupted to some extent by individual(s) pulling a fire alarm at the convention hotel. Said hotel was attached to an arena where the Wu-Tang Clan played a show that evening, with fans of the band getting a little... out of hand, hence the fire alarm.
