Transformers: Rescue Bots Academy is an upcoming animated cartoon series, being developed by Boulder Media Studio as a sequel to Transformers: Rescue Bots. Ben Ward is the lead writer for the series, and it is expected to begin airing in the fall of 2018 on Discovery Family, with 104 episodes currently planned. The voice cast of Rescue Bots will not reprise their roles, with existing characters being re-cast with new actors.

Intended for more of a preschool audience than its predecessor, the series will follow the first class of the new Rescue Bot Training Academy, learning from the more experienced Rescue Bots how to respond to emergency situations and become heroes.
