Studio Series

First revealed at Toy Fair 2018, Studio Series, underneath the Generations banner, acts as a celebration of over ten years of live-action movies, with characters from every movie represented. It also coincides with Bumblebee, the sixth film in Michael Bay's live-action film series.
Each toy is numbered, with an indication of their movie of origin. All figures also come with a cardboard backdrop depicting a notable scene from their respective movie. Backdrops from separate figures representing the same scene are designed to be displayed side-by-side.
With rough robot mode scale as a line-wide goal, each figure is sized in relation to other toys, even in the same size class; Deluxe Jazz is shorter than Deluxe Bumblebee, who is in turn shorter than Deluxe Ratchet.

ExclusivesToys"R"UsDue to coinciding with the closure of the United States division of Toys"R"Us, Thundercracker was only briefly available in some stores, and was never added to the Toys"R"Us online store before the latter ceased operations. He was later made available via several US-based online retailers. In Canada, he was released as a Toys"R"Us exclusive both online and in stores. In Hong Kong, he was available in Toys"R"Us stores and from online retailers. In the Philippines and Malaysia, he was released as a Toys"R"Us exclusive in stores. Meanwhile in Singapore, a special Bumblebee was a giveaway for buying Transformers for a certain amount of dollars.
San Diego Comic-Con/Hasbro Toy ShopDebuting at San Diego Comic-Con 2018, this set was later made available via Hasbro Toy Shop. In Taiwan, it was available at general retail. It was also offered at Comic-Con Paris 2018.

Studio Series (TakaraTomy)Similar to Power of the Primes, in Takara's Studio Series (スタジオシリーズ) line, all figures are identical to their Hasbro counterparts, forgoing Takara's past practice of using more movie-accurate paint jobs. This is most likely due to the line being an official collaboration between Hasbro and TakaraTomy, much like the Masterpiece Movie Series line. ID numbering slightly differs after number 8 compared to the Hasbro release, since some figures and exclusives are not yet released in Japan. Starting from SS-16 Bumblebee, the packages feature the franchise's 35th anniversary logo.

Notes
The code names many of the other figures, assuming they even had code names, are still unknown, as those toys have (thus far) consistently been listed under their actual characters' names. Meanwhile, a listing for a supposed Voyager Class figure using the code name "Destroyer" later turned out to be a mislabeled Energon Igniters Speed Series Barricade from the Bumblebee movie toy line, with which the Studio Series shares its code names. |
