Overview

During the Cold War, Bumblebee is on loan to MI6 and teamed with a new partner, but must soon search for a traitor in the ranks when a mission goes awry.

Creative team

The series is written by long-time Transformers scribe and continuity aficionado John Barber, author of several other live-action movie universe titles including Sector 7, Foundation, and Rising Storm, and drawn by Andrew Griffith, who previously worked with Barber on Robots in Disguise.

Notes

  • This series, despite being billed as the official movie prequel, is utterly incompatible with the movie proper. The movie depicts Bumblebee first making landfall from Cybertron in 1987, which clashes with the prequel's premise of him being an active agent on Earth in the '60s.
