A frame from the Super Bowl spot for Dark of the Moon (top) compared to the same frame as it appeared in the first official trailer (below)—and also in the final movie, without any further noteworthy changes—reveals numerous changes to the CG effects. Most notably, both Optimus Prime and the M1 Abrams Decepticon are rescaled and moved to different positions on-screen; a Decepticon using the same body-type as Blackout and Grindor is removed entirely; and a Decepticon using the same body-type as Long Haul, as well as other generics, are added.
