This article is about the planet from Animated. For the fortress from Prime which is also sometimes called New Kaon, see Darkmount (Earth).

Situated on the far galactic rim away from Autobot interference, the Decepticon refugee colony of New Kaon is ideal for coordinating the scattered cells of Decepticons left in the wake of Megatron's disappearance. It serves as the capital world of the Decepticon Empire, albeit a very unimpressive one.

New Kaon was originally known as Pyrovar.

Notes

  • New Kaon's original name and capital status were mentioned in The AllSpark Almanac II. The name "Pyrovar" originates in the unofficial text story "Alignment", in which a planet of that name was similarly made the capital world of a displaced Decepticon army (albeit named "New Cybertron").
