Kuri's warbird was shot down by the Federation mining colony on Cygnus Seven, the ship crash landing on one of the system's moons near Trypticon's city mode. Prime's Directive, Part One Once the Klingons had allied themselves with the Decepticons, Megatron had Trypticon scan the downed warbird so he could assimilate its cloaking device and ambush the USS Enterprise.
