Star Trek vs. Transformers

[edit]

In the past, Kuri clashed with the crew of the USS Enterprise, his defeat giving him a hatred of its commanding officer, James T. Kirk.

On stardate 5892.7, Kuri led his warbird to attack the Federation dilithium mine on the disputed world of Cygnus Seven, only for the colony's defences to shoot down their vessel, causing it to crash on a nearby moon. The Klingons then explored a mysterious city that they believed to have been built by the humans before the city's actual occupants arrived, Kuri brokering a truce with their leader, based on their mutual hatred of humanity. Prime's Directive, Part One

Though Kuri was eager to turn the power of the Transformers against Starfleet, Megatron soon lost interest in the alliance and demanded to know what the Klingons could offer his forces, prompting Kuri to reveal the existence of the Klingon cloaking device. Megatron's second, Starscream, then privately spoke to Kuri about acquiring a personal cloak. Unaware of the Decepticons' propensity for duplicity and with his honor driving him to victory at any cost, Kuri bequeathed one such device to the Air Commander. After Trypticon had scanned the downed warbird, the Titan shot down the Enterprise and led the charge back to Cygnus Seven. Prime's Directive, Part Two Prime's Directive, Part Four

Kuri remained aboard Trypticon for the following battle, beaming down only when Spock and Optimus Prime surrendered to Starscream. As he boasted of his empire's superiority to the Vulcan-hybrid, a duplicate Enterprise burst free from the planet's crust and began attacking the Decepticons. As the tide of the battle turned, Kuri and Starscream began pointing fingers before the duplicate Enterprise revealed itself to be Fortress Maximus. Prime's Directive, Part Three

Enraged by the presence of the Autobot Titan, Kuri failed to notice Starscream cloak himself and slip away to the dilithium processing centre, emerging in his jet mode with a rich bounty of the mineral. In a rage, Megatron turned his fusion cannon on the Klingons only to be distracted by Optimus Prime. After Megatron had swiftly dealt with his foe, he returned his attention to Kuri (who declared today a good day to die) before his life was saved by Jazz. When Trypticon was felled, the Decepticons retreated after Starscream, Kuri and his crew being taken prisoner aboard Maximus over his preference of a glorious execution. Prime's Directive, Part Four

When it was discovered that the Decepticons were aiming to conquer Kronos, Kuri and his forces allied with the Autobots and Starfleet, being beamed down to inform the High Council of the Decepticons' betrayal aid in the fight of the First City. In the following battle, Kuri wielded his bat'leth against Rumble and Frenzy but proved an inferior fighter to the Mini-Cons. Megatron eventually ordered Soundwave to unleash audio disruptor waves which brought the Autobots and Starfleet to their knees but left the Klingons unharmed. Taking advantage of this, Kuri summoned a warbird fleet which decloaked and defeated the invaders. Prime's Directive, Part Five
