Krunix (G1)
- Krunix is a Decepticon from the Marvel Comics portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Heavy is the head that wears the crown. Roman emperors paid old men to whisper in their ears "you are mortal" and remind them of caution, and Scorponok has Krunix... whether he wants him or not.
Krunix advises caution, constantly reminding Scorponok of what could go wrong. It's a trait that's kept him alive, and a that makes him valuable to his commander- to a point.
Krunix shrinks down to transform into a small three-barrel blaster of the size a human or nebulan could wield. He is also capable of hovering under his own power in this mode.
Though useful in some circumstances, Krunix's altmode severely limits his offensive capabilities and his teammates grow weary of his constant requests to 'save' some targets for him.
In the US edition of the headmasters comic Krunix was identified as Cyclonus. Since he... wasn't Cyclonus, his name was changed to Krunix in the UK printing.

Marvel Comics continuity
Krunix took part in the Decepticons raid on Fortress Maximus's base in the Manganese Mountains. He was concerned the transmission from Lord Zarak could be a booby-trap before discovering it was an alien language.
Krunix was among the Decepticons that traveled to Nebulos, and and Scorponok's handpicked team that laid siege to Koraja.Broken Glass!
Krunix was never seen again after Scorponok binary bonded with Lord Zarak. Presumably the Decepticon leader found another voice in his ear feeding his doubts redundant.
Krunix has a bigger role in the Marvel comics than Sixshot. Nyah!
