Notes

  • Even if we are to assume the Decepticons are completely unaware of what a nuclear power plant is and how dangerous radioactive materials are, why would they be careless with their laser fire if they assume that crude oil is being stored inside when they are perfectly capable of exercising caution around refineries, where they know oil is being stored?
  • The summary of the Decepticons' various activities was later recycled (with some altered wording and rearranged sentences) for Comic-Taschenbuch #2, and the majority of the story was recycled again in a similar manner for Comic-Magazin #22.
  • The story was also recycled, with swapped out characters and locations, for an issue of the M.A.S.K. Comic-Magazin, published by Interpart, one of Condor's alternate identities/imprints. Alternatively, it might also be that the M.A.S.K. version of the story is the original, and this is the recycled version. That might explain why Bumblebee is stated to be "bound and gagged", which makes considerably more sense for a human like Scott Trakker (his counterpart in the M.A.S.K. version of the story) than a Cybertronian robot.
  • The comic title is translated as "To the Chip-Melter..."
