Notes
Continuity notes
- The GroundBridge Hot Rod emerges from is the same one he chased the "moon cheetah" through in the previous episode.
- Slipstream was promoted to leadership of the Seekers in "Sea of Tranquility".
- Starscream is being memorialized following his (apparent) death in "Bad Moon Rising". Naturally, Megatron's speech that poor Screamer lost his life at the hands of the Autobots is nothing but bald-faced lies, as Megatron himself was the one who savagely beat Starscream before blasting him with his fusion cannon.
Transformers references
- Clobber is a female version of Animated Lugnut. She's nowhere near as tall as he was, but otherwise looks almost exactly the same.
- GroundBridges were first introduced in the Prime cartoon.
Real-world references
- The user names on the comments scrolling past Megatron's video are all based on the names of Great Old Ones from Lovecraftian mythology; with the noticeable exception of Shodan from System Shock.
- Some of the commenters use the hashtag "#starscreamgate", a reference to the common practice of attaching "-gate" to the name of a scandal, inspired by the infamous Watergate scandal in the 1970s.
Trivia
- In some markets, this aired with the title "Bring Me The Head Of Optimus Prime," most likely due to Megatron asking for the head of Optimus Prime in the episode itself.
