Ironclad
- Ironclad is an Autobot from the Generation 1 continuity family.

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Ironclad is a boxer. He has a defensive approach to the sport, and though he is slow, his large fists (and everything else) usually make up for this handicap.

Of Masters and Mayhem
Ironclad was an architectural and engineering genius who worked with the Wreckers for a time. His work even impressed the Technobots when he recommended an upgrade to their combining process. With body modifications all around, Ironclad would have joined the Technobots and linked with a more energy-efficient Afterburner to create a new arm. His design was ultimately rejected, but the idea was used to incorporate Scrounge and Cybaxx instead, adding the full knowledge of the Underbase to Computron's databanks.
Later, after the razing of Cybertron by Thunder Mayhem, Impactor retained his late comrade's design schematics. He used this information to upgrade himself and Bluestreak with combiner remodels intended for Ironclad and Lightspeed, and incorporate them into the new Wreckage combiner. Lively Pursuit
Notes
- The physical description of the Of Masters and Mayhem incarnation of Ironclad is based on an earlier Hasbro plan for Combiner Wars Computron. "Lively Pursuit" describes Ironclad as a "mustard tan and gray" redeco of Rook, using the alternate Brawl head we previously glimpsed in Another Light with a red faceplate. It combines with an "energy-efficient" Afterburner for arm mode, presumably the Legends Class Groove mold. Later comments by Pete Sinclair and Jesse Wittenrich would reveal that this toy would be a representation of Ironfist under a new, trademark-friendly name.
