Transformers: Bravemasters

New Transformers: Bravemasters (新トランスプフォーマー ブレイブプマスターズ) was an unrealised proposal for an e-HOBBY exclusive toyline. Revealed by Hayato Sakamoto at BotCon 2015 (alongside Prime: Shattered Glass and Part One), the line was cancelled during the concept phase and replaced by Transformers Cloud.
Bravemasters was intended to have a broad appeal: its simple story was to be ideal for Transformers newcomers, its previously-unexplored time period in the Japanese Generation 1 continuity would be for the veterans, and its aesthetic would appeal to fans of the Brave franchise.[1]
Fiction

Bravemasters' accompanying fiction would be set in 2014, after the Transformers have all left Earth at the conclusion of The Headmasters, but before the events of Super-God Masterforce. A new Decepticon army, led by Master Hell (a tentative name), attacks the planet. A lone Autobot named Brave, left behind as a carnival automaton in Japan, joins forces with a sick human boy, and together they become the first line of defence for his new home. Ask Vector Prime would later namecheck the concept of a Bravemaster — whatever that is.
Toys
Extrapolating from concept artwork, the Bravemasters toyline may have included the following:
Autobots
|
Decepticons
|
![]() |
Given that the other two conceptual lines, along with the eventual Transformers Cloud, each featured a lineup of eight characters, it is entirely possible that the latter three Decepticons were merely repurposed from their retail toys, and were not due for release in Bravemasters.
