Talk:Multilingual packaging
Duh. Seems like we were working on the article at the same time and screwed up each other's corrections.--Nevermore 14:22, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
So, that's better.
Still, the "Psychology" section needs some reworking.--Nevermore 18:11, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
Love the writing on the "Psychology" section. 86.132.249.195 04:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC)a lurker
A thought
Would it be perverse, hilarious, or just annoying to reproduce this article's introductory paragraph three times in three different languages? -- Repowers 05:40, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- All three, which means do it! Do it! DO IT!!! --M Sipher 06:25, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Just put in French, Spanish and German translations of the first paragraph, but it was just done with Babelfish, so it's probably... wrong. Not bad until someone who can actually speak those languages comes along, though. Semysane 08:24, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Fixed the German version. Trying to find someone for the Spanish and French ones.--Nevermore 22:32, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

- I created us a Finnish translation because why not? I speak Finnish natively. :D Jerryteacup (talk) 00:50, 19 December 2019 (EST)
no voiseovers in english
- Should it also be noted somewere that hasbro now scraps all voiseovers of new products because some kids won't understand what the products are saying? Like movie 'prime and megatron, or the bumblebee voise changer helmet?(this pisses me off so much)--Sunjumper 12:46, 10 October 2009 (EDT)

spanish paragraph correction
changed a "region" for "región", just to let you know it's that way in spanish XD
Polish version
The Polish translation was surprisingly correct, not including one tiny mistake that I removed. Kudos to whoever wrote it. ---Blackout- 07:05, 25 July 2010 (EDT)
Italian version
Italian text added
EDIT
pardon, I just noticed it was already there and corrected my mistake.
Additional Changes for EU packaging starting with Prime
As if things in Europe couldn't get more cramped. It looks like the Prime Deluxe cards for Europe are not only smaller than the American ones but have yet another language added: Russian, making the grand total 13 different languages. Perhaps an update in order? -JelZe GoldRabbit 11:24, 2 May 2012 (EDT)
- On the Cyberverse Commanders (don't know about the others), the front of the packaging has "FACILE" twice. Presumably because its the same word in two different languages but why bother printing that same word twice? It just seems pointless.
- You answered your own question, it is the same word in two languages. It is required to be on there in each language, therefor it must be printed twice. --Khajidha 10:26, 13 August 2012 (EDT)
BW-era trilingual packaging
I'm bringing this up here instead of just fixing it because it seems to be so obviously wrong that I feel like I must be misunderstanding it. The page currently says that individual toys' names were no longer translated into French for BW, but that's patently absurd - we even list the characters' French-Canadian names on their pages! What am I missing here? -LV 10:02, 13 August 2012 (EDT)
