Rona Simpson

Rona Simpson is an editor at Titan Comics who took over the Transformers magazine from Steve White, editing it from issue 3.1 to issue 4.11 and then, after a period by Mark McKenzie-Ray, from issue 4.16 to the end.

Simpson started as an assistant editor for Redan Publishing and moved her way up to being a staff editor, and later freelance editor and writer, at Titan. Among the other magazines Simpson has worked on at Titan include Indiana Jones, The Simpsons, Wallace and Gromit, Batman Legends]], and Star Wars Rebels.

It's almost certainly Simpson who responded to a reader in issue 3.4 to admit that their "hands are tied" by toy sales and couldn't show the female characters as much as they'd like to.
