- Headlock is a Transformer from the 2019 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
One of the many inhabitants of Iacon's black market, Headlock may be smart enough to cooperate with the 'bots of Security Operations... but he's not smart enough to understand the larger political realities that surround the Autobots, Ascenticons, and The Rise.

In the years before the War of the Threefold Spark, Headlock was involved in Cybertron's gladiatorial arenas, and watched in horror as Megatron defeated Lugnut in a match. The Change In Your Nature Part Three
On the trail of Brainstorm's murder, Headlock was known to have traded with a Voin scavenger who was witness to the killing, and was thus one of the witnesses Barricade pumped for information regarding its potential whereabouts. When that Voin—along with the young Transformer Rubble—were both murdered by known Ascenticon Quake, it was a furious Prowl who cornered Headlock for information, but was shocked to learn that Ascenticon sympathizer Barricade had already interrogated the black market dealer without telling him.
