Growl (G1)
| The name or term "Growl" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Growl (disambiguation). |
- Growl is a Decepticon Micromaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Growl is a sadistic bully who finds that his desire to maim and kill suits him perfectly for the Military Patrol. He occasionally makes noises about replacing Bombshock as team leader, but that's mostly just because everyone else says that, and he doesn't want to look weak. He'll actually go on happily following orders forever, so long as they involve killing things.[1]

Recipe for Hate Growl was seen working with Skystalker after the Interstellar Assault Commander temporarily deactivated Shockwave and overthrew his command. Growl's main duty seemed to be carrying around Shockwave's severed head, and taking it wherever it needed to go. Oddly, not that many places. Victims of the Revolution
