The fate of the GoBots rests in YOUR hands!
Synopsis
Deep within the Earth a mysterious oberserver keeps track of the Gobots’ mission…
Meanwhile, the GoBots, with an unconscious Stepper still in tow, try to meet with the Autobots leader. However, Cliffjumper remains suspicious of these new arrivals, until he receives a communication from his commander, telling him to let them in. The GoBots are led through Ironworks Base, still under repairs from recent Shatterdverse Autobot attacks, to the conference room. They are introduced to “Mr. Hawk”, and ask about the condition of the other three members of their team that arrived ahead of them.
Using a wrist-mounted communicator, Metalhawk tells Wheeljack to bring the three other GoBots in. The GoBots are relieved that their teammates are safe. However, Metalhawk informs them that they have a friend of theirs, as well. The GoBots are understandably confused when Small Foot starts glowing and a Solarbot reveals itself, having hitched a ride earlier. Metalhawk is glad to finally meet Solarbot, having heard much about him from Soundwave. The Solarbot reveals that, much like the GoBots' home dimension, his colony has also been drained of it’s energy by an unknown phenomenon.
Wheeljack explains the reason both of their home dimensions were affected is because their worlds are “satellites” of the Classicsverse. When Ultra Magnus used rarefied energon to destroy the Classicsverse, he knocked these other “satellite” universes out of orbit, causing these energy shortages. Stunned by the enormity of their problem, everyone tries to find a solution. Solarbot theorizes that positively affecting the rarefied energon in this universe should help rebalance the problems facing their own universes. Wheeljack is impressed by the idea, but worries that they don’t have a supercomputer powerful enough to control the energon radiation needed to affect the rarefied energon on a universal scale.
However, Cliffjumper knows where one is…
Afterward, Stepper is locked up in an Autobot cell, mourning Nebulon’s death and waiting for his allies to find and free him by tracking his emergency beacon. However, he starts to feel tremors around him and feels himself pulled across dimensions to a mysterious city.
Meanwhile, the Autobots and GoBots try to figure out the fastest way to get to the supercomputer, since spacebridge technology is currently unstable and ground travel is too slow. The Micromaster Transport is decided as the quickest way to get there, but it can only seat five of the GoBots, with one of them being inhabited by the Solarbot, and Skyklik as a pilot. While trying to decide who the five of their nine party team should go and healing their wounded, Wheeljack gives them a transdimensional communicator to try and contact their home dimension.
Three hours later, Pathfinder is still trying to decide who, other than herself, should go on the mission. The transdimensional communicator, unable to contact the GoBots’ homeworld before, starts to transmit a message from a very important person...

Errors
- Stepper refers to Ricochet as his brother, but that doesn't feel right. Ricochet has previously been established to be Jazz's brother, specifically created in an ember-splitting experiment by Optimus Prime, and throwing Stepper into that equation would be a rather sudden, weird, unexplained addition, plus Stepper's bio, published over a year prior to this story, identified him only as Ricochet's "former teammate."
- There is no November 31. But reality itself is breaking down, so we can forgive them, I guess.
- The name "Buggy Man" is spelled as such in this story despite being spelled "Buggyman" in the previous two chapters. Which of the two is the "correct" spelling is unknown.
Continuity notes
- Stepper would next appear in the lead in stories to "Cybertron's Most Wanted".
- This story explains why the Cataclysm restarted in "Sunrise" in spite of the destruction of the Classicsverse, which was stated in "Withered Hope" to be the source of the Cataclysm: the GoBots' home reality is a universe linked to the Classicsverse, and thus when SG Ultra Magnus destroyed it in "Invasion", any linked realities were destabilized as well. Guess it really sucks to live in Gargent 984.08 Alpha, eh?
- Cliffjumper's many adventures throughout the multiverse and especially in the Shattered Glass universe are referenced.
Transformers references
- Metalhawk is shown to be very good at pretending to be a human and copying their mannerisms.
