After traveling from somewhere in the Aurex Cluster to Axiom Nexus, Odd Ball and his fellow members of the Instigation Mini-Con Team grew tired of getting kicked around. They were receptive to Cy-Kill's message of violent reform and pledged themselves to his cause, with Odd Ball being modified by Cy-Kill to transform into a monster jet. Cy-Kill found Odd Ball quite unpredictable, and though a slow and steady partner like Block Head might temper him. Renegade Rhetoric (1), 2015/10/16

Eventually all of the Axiom Nexus Renegades, including Odd Ball, fled the current time period with the help of Gong, going to a time and place unknown to menace Guardians and Cybertronians alike. Renegade Rhetoric (1), 2015/10/21

Notes

• Odd Ball and his fellow Mini-Con recruits are all Wendy's-exclusive toys, debuting too late to make an appearance in the Challenge of the GoBots cartoon.
  • The Wendy's toys were among the only GoBots to have bios, bios which Odd Ball's portrayal in Ask Vector Prime draws from.
• The "Cataclysm" version of Odd Ball is a "virtual redeco" of Rescue Bots High Tide, with the head of Armada Thrust.
