Skywarp is a Decepticon Seeker from the Cyberverse continuity family.

As the captain of an elite Seeker unit, Skywarp is essentially the bot who's in charge of the troops when the other high-ranking officials are either unavailable or have been killed in action.

Fiction

Cyberverse cartoon

When Megatron believed Shockwave had killed the crew of the Ark, he ordered Skywarp to take the Seekers to comb through the ship's wreckage and find the AllSpark while killing any Autobot survivors before a revenge-crazed Teletraan-X interrupted him. She later took part in the subsequent battle with the Autobots, getting shot out of the sky by Jetfire. Battle For Cybertron II

After the Great War had ended and the AllSpark returned to Cybertron's core, the planet was invaded by the Quintessons who locked the population in a virtual reality simulator while draining their spark energy. The Dead End

Once everyone had been freed, the Autobots and Decepticons were subject to team building exercises. Teamed up with Jetfire, Sky-Byte, and Rack'n'Ruin, Skywarp spent her first session being clobbered by the Autobot twins. Later sessions proved more successful with Skywarp slashing a drone to bits to end the round. The Alliance

After the Quintesson flagship had been destroyed, the new Judge revealed himself as Starscream who unleashed a brainwashed Croaton on the planet. Rallying behind Jetfire, Skywarp was part of an aerial attack that launched a futile attack on the Titan. After Megatron had returned to save the world, he divided the planet in two and led the Decepticons away. The End Of The Universe IV

A group of Autobots later violated the border line with Skywarp being part of the group that surrounded them only for Megatron to release the Autobots, having more important matters to attend to. Enemy Line

Notes

  • This Skywarp is female, a departure from most versions of the character, who have traditionally been male.
  • Skywarp was conspicuously absent from the first two seasons of Cyberverse. However, an early male version of Nova Storm may have originally been intended to be Skywarp.
  • Mae Catt is disappointed that Skywarp never had any dialogue while on-screen.[1]
