Wild Wheel is a Decepticon and former Autobot from the Cyberverse continuity family.
He was vicious and a killer, though a youth of twenty four, and the notches on his pistol numbered one an' nineteen more.

It's always a tragedy when a good 'bot goes bad, and Wild Wheel ain't no exception. Once as stalwart an Autobot as you can name, his accidental abandonment has soured him. Any goodness in his Spark has been buried under a streak of viciousness and resentment a mile wide, and now Wild Wheel wanders the spaceways, using his sharpshooting skills and tremendous strength to barely eke out a living, all the while hunting the 'bot he holds solely responsible for his tragic fall: Optimus Prime. And when he finds that son of a glitch... he'd better hope he's quicker on the draw than Wild Wheel.

But on the plus side, he rocks the space poncho look.

Wild Wheel was a crewmember on-board the Ark when it made its fateful voyage to look for the AllSpark. As energon reserves ran low, the crew entered stasis to survive, setting the Ark on automatic. When the Ark tracked the AllSpark to a blue-green planet, the ship suffered a hull breach, Wild Wheel's pod being among those sucked out of the hold, falling into the gravity of the primitive world. Wild Wheel's pod burnt up in the atmosphere, and he crash-landed on the continent of what would one day become America. For the next sixty-odd million years, Wild Wheel was trapped, only managing to get free in the 1800s. He promptly fell in with a gang of human outlaws, and was reduced to petty crimes to survive, soon earning a bounty on his head. As time passed, he became increasingly resentful toward his Autobot comrades, feeling they had abandoned him, with a particular hatred for Optimus Prime himself. He eventually managed to leave Earth on his own.

Wandering through space, Wild Wheel took harsh jobs as a bounty hunter in order to survive, while still looking for the Autobot leader. After the Quintesson invasion of Cybertron, Wild Wheel returned to his home planet. Arriving on the Decepticon half of the planet, he began roughly interrogating everyone he ran into as to the whereabouts of his former commander. Despite not getting much, he was able to overpower Ramjet, Dirge, and the Insecticons, even using Kickback as a steed. He eventually got a straight answer upon encountering Megatron, the Decepticon leader being all too happy to point him in Optimus's direction. As he departed, Megatron offered him a place amongst the Decepticons if he survived.

Repeating his rough inquiries on the Autobot side of the planet, Wild Wheel tracked Optimus to Cobalt Springs, where he sabotaged the restoration efforts in order to get his attention. Optimus tried reasoning with the former Autobot, who rebuffed his efforts and challenged him to a quick-shooting duel. Optimus succeed, and once again tried to reason with Wild Wheel to let go of his hatred and rejoin the Autobots. Wild Wheel refused and made his way back toward the Decepticon half of Cybertron, stating that his life as an Autobot was over. Wild Wild Wheel

After officially joining the Decepticons, Wild Wheel attained a position of prominence in their ranks and became aware of a threat known only as "the Other One". He joined his leader in searching for the missing Insecticons. Finding that the trio made a makeshift craft to take their chances and flee, Wild Wheel was prevented by Megatron from firing on Shrapnel and could do nothing more but watch the bugs fly off like cowards. He was later present at Megatron's side just in time for a master race of Decepticons to beam in and surround everyone. Silent Strike

The invaders were quickly identified as Perfect Decepticons belonging to the Other One. Along with the other Decepticons, Wild Wheel fought against the Perfect Decepticons but only managed to fell them after receiving a power boost of multiverse energy from Megatron. When the Other One revealed himself to be an alternate and more ruthless version of Megatron, the Decepticons attempted to pledge their loyalty to said entity. However, Megatron X laughed them off, citing the other Decepticons as being "unneeded". The Other One

  • Wildwheel (Battle Call Trooper, 2020)
    • Accessories: Two pistols
Released as part of the Cyberverse's Battle Call subline, the Trooper Class Wildwheel is a Deluxe-sized mold that converts from a cowboy-themed Bot into a Cybertronian car and back. Like his sub-line's brethren, Wild Wheel features a "Battle Call" voice-activated gimmick, which automatically deploys his armor and activates his battle sounds if "Power Up" is spoken.
Sadly, he does not come with a lasso or poncho. But on the plus side: his hat can come off.
