We know that it wants to be done, we know that people are signed on and that there are already new characters being thought-up, but we don't have official confirmation that there will be a sequel. -- Hunter-113 12:09, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

On the other hand, considering the take, they'd be nuts not to do a sequel.

I think this article should stay. It seems obvious that they will make a transformers 2, after how well the first one has done they'd never pass a chance up to make a sequal. This article gives good information on what is known so far about the possible t2 and as it furthers in developement this article will be the perfect spot to place the updates. ---Guest

Scary enough, Moviefone has a listing for "Transformers 2", with a 2010 "release date". --Terrocon Blot 01:53, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Given that an admittedly somewhat tentative release date has already been announced[1], I'd say we certainly should have a TF2 article- however, I also have to admit that this current version needs a lot of work.--TVsGrady 19:44, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

I think my sources are accurate, but I unfortunately do not remember where I heard all this stuff I put on. The RIBFIR Dude 16:54, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Then don't put your bullshit in, Kremzeek. —Interrobang 16:58, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Who is he? Why do you all think I'm him? No one has ever given me a link to this guy so I dont know who he is! Tell me who is Kremzeek? The RIBFIR Dude 17:36, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

I say move this article to the 'Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen' page. The title is more percise plus I incorrectly thought the article 'Transformers 2' was about the 'Transformers: Generation Two' line. - Zadok Rox 17:44, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Citations Needed

For the alleged facts that were already in the article, it would be best if we could have references for them, to avoid this page becoming rampant speculation and rumormongering. So, I added a bunch of "Citation Needed". JW 20:06, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

Man, you are evil. (I'm assuming you erased what I wrote.) Everything I had in there was logical. For example, I learned about the aircraft carrier on Wikipedia, and saw Starscream flying into space on the TRansformers DVD. I am learning the whole wiki business one step at a time, and currently, I have no idea how to make citations.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Crosshairs-1 (talkcontribs).

Writers Strike stuff

With the strike over, and no particular evidence it slowed the development of TF2 much, I'm thinking the whole paragraph about the strike could just be cut. Five years from now, it would just say something like, "A year and a half before TF2 was released, there was a multi-month writers strike in Hollywood, which didn't have much effect on the movie." That's pretty uninteresting. Opinions? JW 19:58, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

I dunno. I do think it's interesting that Bay was so fired up before the strike that he just forged ahead on movie prep without even having a script.--RosicrucianTalk 19:59, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

I think you should rephrase that--He did have a script, but it was more of the ouline they completed after TWO WEEKS of writing, and he turned it into a script..with some 'michael bay humor' added..whatever that means..and they've even said they're not sure if they can undo or fix certain things, so they are seeing what is too far along to fix and what isnt..and what of this 'realease date' of 2010? is it true?--Chipmonk329

Transformers 2 script leak..or so it says...I want to see if you think this is true or not: http://transformerslive.blogspot.com/2007/10/transfomers-2-leaked-script.html ---Chipmonk329

ROTF

This is NOT offically confirmed, so it shouldn't be listed here. Yes the name was registered a few weeks back, as were three or four others. Until Paramount or Hasbro or someone officially releases it, shouldn't be mentioned here. The site that released this is no more offical then the one that said we'd be getting Devastator, and we're not putting that up. User:GWolfv2 16.46 June 5th

I assumed Don Murphy was official enough, but okay. --Thylacine 2000 16:33, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Confirmation from Hasbro --KilMichaelMcC 17:29, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
Don Murphy is as reliable a source as Michael Bay on these things. Hasbro on the other hand...thanks for thatKilMichael User:GWolfv2
