Mantofrenzy is a Laser Beast from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Mantofrenzy (マントフレンジー Mantofurenjī) is a Laser Beast of the Hamadryas Baboon Clan and one of the Shield Battler-6. He exhibits considerable strength and passion when met with a challenge and never shows signs of weakness. The oldest and most experienced member of the Shield Battler-6, his wise judgment and influence has made him the unit's unofficial leader as everyone turns to him for his opinion, even Stronghurricane. His Spike Manteau Laser can send any object flying no matter its weight.

Mantofrenzy and the rest of the Shield Battler-6 attacked and defeated Bombsheep by knocking over his Stag Hunter vehicle, then scattered when Platinum Tiger arrived with the Tiger Hunter. Beastformers VS Laser Beasts

The Shield Battler-6 later followed Tigerburn to the Legends World in an attempt to conquer it, but failed and fled back to their own world. Bonus Edition Vol. 64

Mantofrenzy is an anthropomorphic Hamadryas baboon in high-tech blue armor. He comes with his "Spike Manteau Laser" and a shield. He has a transparent orb in his torso, revealing the elemental power of fire, water, or wood.

Mantofrenzy was only available as a set with Fighthorn, Grencats, Battlefennec, Killerhound, and Stronghurricane.
