Transformers Hall of Fame/2015

2015 was the sixth year of the Transformers Hall of Fame. Unlike previous years, fans had the opportunity to vote in three categories: best character, best combiner, and real-life musical act. The three categories were won by Prowl, Predaking and Vince DiCola respectively. In addition Frank Welker was inducted.
Nomination process
[edit]Between April 13th and April 20th, Transformers fan sites held individual polls to determine the nominees for the final ballot. Sites which participated included the Allspark, TFW2005, ASMZine, TFormers, TFViews, Awesome Toy Blog, Cybertron.ca, Topless Robot, Unicron.com, and TFWiki.net. The voting to decide the final inductees was held via a poll in the official Transformers app starting on May 26:

Hall of Fame Announcement
[edit]The results were read out by Frank Welker as the original Megatron in an official YouTube video. The Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime would later establish that the Megatron announcing the Hall of Fame results hailed from the universe of the Marvel UK letters page.
Notes
[edit]- Predaking was represented in the app by a picture of Transformers: Prime Predaking, who is not actually a combiner.
- Optimus Primal, meanwhile, was represented by art of Jungle Planet Armada Optimus Prime.
