White Cow
- White Cow is a Beastformer from the Beastformers portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
White Cow (ホワイトカウ Howaito Kau) loves you. Even if he doesn't know you, he loves you and cares about you. Growing up in the abundant prairie farmlands of Uruk only amplified the gentle and generous nature of its future King, resulting in a heart as big as planet Beast. He cares for all beings, no matter how big or small, and deeply respects everything's place in nature. He loves to spend his time watching the flowers and butterflies, sitting and reading, and talking about dreams with his subordinate Emperor Dream Eater. He is capable of telling much about any piece of land by listening to the sounds of the fauna and carefully examining the flora. This gives him the ability to track down important resources before even advanced machines can find them, a skill he put to good use during his time in White Leo's army.
But mistaking his caring and gentle nature as the naivete of a pushover is a big mistake. This moo has muscle, and is a skilled fighter. Plus he wields the bizarre sword called "Bread & Butter" (ブレッド&バター Bureddo & Batā), which can turn whatever he strikes into butter. Not "turn it as soft as butter", but actually turn it into actual butter. And he will beat the spread.
(We apologize for nothing.)

Transformers: Beastformers
- White Cow (Beastformer, 1987)
- Beast ID number: 68
- Accessories: Sword
- Part of the third series of Takara's Beastformers toys, White Cow is, well, an anthropomorphic white cow in dark blue/purple robotic armor. Though his "fur" is entirely white, it also has sculpted lines in patches and spot shapes, indicating areas that might have been originally meant to be painted black, making him most likely a standard-issue Holstein. The rubsign on his chest reveals one of three symbols; Fire, Water or Wood.
- He came in a green-grid generic "Cybertron Beastformer" box, with a bio card with a line-art character image first used in Hasbro's Battle Beasts cast poster (rather than the painted images of the prior two series). Depending on the "Pack" he came in, there was a chance of his bio card being replaced with a rare "Secret Photo", "Bewitching Serpent Seal", or "VS Holography Mirror" card.
Beastformers
- White Cow (Beastformer, 1988)
- Beast ID number: 68
- Accessories: "Bread & Butter" MVP Weapon
- Re-released in the Transformers-less Beastformers sequel series, White Cow was given a straight re-release with new packaging and a new, more filled-out bio card with corrected coloring. This new card also gave his weapon, now branded an "MVP Weapon", the name "Bread & Butter".
- The initial early releases of this series had the chance for any Beastformer to have the rare Burstsun symbol; we'll probably never know if White Cow was ever actually one of them. Later in the run, the "mood ring" styled rubsigns were replaced with new rubsigns that revealed full-color Fire/Wood/Water images on black backdrops. (These rubsign variants also happened at the same time in the Hasbro Battle Beast version of the line.)
Notes
- No, the butter-sword thing is not a joke.
- White Cow's 1988 bio card gives him the nickname "Whites" (ホワイツ Howaitsu).
- The original Battle Beasts artwork used in his 1987 bio card (seen at the top of this article) incorrectly gives him Demonkey's sword. His 1988 card was partially redrawn to correct this.
