The Pack is Lio Convoy's personal team and is known to be a secret black-ops intelligence unit.

The Pack's existence is need-to-know and you don't need to know. One operative, Stampy, was reported to have been lost in action so he could be quietly moved to the unit.The Ascending #4
Sent by Lio Convoy, Razorbeast infiltrated Magmatron's Predacon cell and journeyed via transwarp to prehistoric Earth with them. The Gathering #1 In hopes of foiling the Predacons' plot, Razorbeast's Earthbound Maximals sent a transmission back to his unit on Cybertron requesting back-up and rescue. The Gathering #4
The message was received by the Pack, and Lio Convoy immediately ordered them to travel to Earth in their transwarp cruiser. The Ascending #1 The Pack reformatted to beast modes for Earthen combat and arrived above the planet to assess the situation. Taking note of a massive battle taking place between Razorbeast's Maximals and the Predacons now led by Ravage, the Pack leaped into action and quickly turned their tide in the Maximals' favor. However, agents of Unicron intervened and infected Razorbeast with Angolmois Energy, turning him into a rabid berserker. The Ascending #2
The Pack aided in restraining the feral Razorbeast and Lio Convoy managed to reach his comrade by appealing to his sense of camaraderie with the Pack. Lio Convoy and Ravage forged an alliance to combat Unicron's threat, and the Maximals and Predacons divided their forces between Earth and Cybertron. The Pack was among the group who returned to Cybertron on their transwarp cruiser. The Ascending #3 On Cybertron, the Pack was on the frontlines of the battle against Unicron's chosen avatar Shokaract and his heralds. Ultimately, Shokaract was defeated, Unicron denied his reemergence, and Razorbeast sadly euthanized when he was unable to shake off the Angolmois infection. The Pack began to assist in the aftermath and clean-up just before another threat prepared to rear its head. The Ascending #4

Beast Wars: Uprising
Led by Steel Jaw, the 24,000-strong Resistance-allied Pack contested Erector's 74th Division for control of Tesarus during the Grand Uprising. Derailment They succeeded in severing Builder supply lines to the besieged city. Safe Spaces When Lio Convoy ordered an full-scale march on Iacon, the Pack went in for an all-or-nothing assault to take Tesarus before their Micromaster enemies could dig in and fortify their position. The Pack managed to take the city and open the road to Iacon, but not without losing their commander and suffering heavy casualties along the way. As they pushed on Iacon, the Pack felled the 42nd Division at the Gyronian River as that Micromaster battalion retreated from Thetacon. Derailment
