Bomber Bill was stopped at Foster's Cafe in southeastern Idaho during a delivery run when the Constructicons stole his truck to use in a nearby construction project. They modified a radio telescope into a huge transdimensional radiowave scrambler so they could contact Cybertron, however Bomber Bill teamed up with a small group of Autobots to destroy the scrambler before they could complete their plan. When the Dinobots suffered a failure in their neuro-circuitry and reverted to a near-mindless state, Slag ended up in the Old River Valley area of Idaho. He was being attacked by a couple of human cowboys when a team of Autobots led by Jetfire arrived and managed to capture the rogue Dinobot. The Decepticons arrived after the fact and found the aftermath of the battle, though Laserbeak filled them in on events. Dinobot Hunt!

Four strange meteroids crash-landed in northern Idaho, resulting in Optimus Prime, Ironhide and Ratchet paying the area a visit to investigate. They encountered four giant robotic centipedes. After the initial encounter, the robo-pedes split up, with two heading north and two heading east towards the town of Sagle. The Autobots were fortunately able to stop them before any humans were injured, though Ironhide did startle some fishermen when he chased a robo-pede into a lake. Satellite of Doom
