After being apprehended in Sowers, W. D. Jones was incarcerated in Eastham. Anticipating a rescue attempt on the part of Bonnie and Clyde, Sector Seven agents Margaret Simmons and Roy Thompson went there to prepare the rangers. The two criminals indeed turned up along with their transforming automobile and managed to liberate a bunch of prisoners before Margaret succeeded in wounding Bonnie. The robot responded by destroying much of the jail until Margaret was able to zap it with Oppenheimer's fancy gun and it retreated with Clyde and the escaped prisoners. Together
