Green Rayfer (グリーンレイファー Gurīnreifā) is a Laser Beast of the Ray Clan and part of the underwater maneuver portion of the Laser Beast forces under Zariganian. Ruthless, coldblooded and completely indifferent to whatever happens around him, even other Laser Beasts think he's creepy from the way he never shows any emotion and have dubbed him the "Killer of the Ocean". His special ability to move underwater undetected is such that no one has seen enough of him to know his true capabilities, not even his allies: all anyone ever sees of Green Rayfer is when he appears out of seemingly nowhere and strikes his enemies down with venom. His MVP Weapon is the Poison Shoot Laser, a laser that paralyzes enemies, removes their ability to speak and saps their life force.

Toys
Beastformers
- Green Rayfer (Laser Beast, 1988)
- ID number: 110
- Accessories: "Poison Shoot Laser" MVP Weapon (usually)
- Part of the second —and rarer— assortment of Takara's Beastformers individually-boxed Laser Beasts, Green Rayfer is an anthropomorphic ray in high-tech dark blue armor. He has a transparent orb in his torso, revealing the elemental power of Fire, Water, or Wood when you look through it into a light source.
- Nominally, he comes with the ray-themed "Poison Shoot Laser" blaster. However, there is also a chance he could come with the weapon from one of the other 11 Laser Beasts in his shipping case; matching the Beasts with their same-numbered weapons was part of the "role-playing game" attached to the line, encouraging kids to buy more of the toys.
- This toy was never released in Hasbro's Battle Beasts line, not even in the limited capacity most "Shadow Warriors" were. As such, it commands a high price on the secondary market.
Notes
- In case you hadn't caught on, "Green Rayfer" is a play on "Grim Reaper". Unlike the final toy, the stock art does depict him in green hues, explaining the name.
- It is currently unknown what his Hasbro Battle Beasts name was going to be.
