Clogstopper

Clogstopper is a member of the Lost Bots from BotBots.

"A man who deliberately covers himself in poo is not sexy."

Ever since getting soaked with energon-infused mist, the toilet plunger that became the robot Clogstopper has made it his mission to do the dirty jobs that nobody else will do. A fearless "fixer", he can resolve any situation, no matter how messy things may be. The other bots are glad for this, so long as he doesn't start talking about what he's seen and where he's been.

Part of the first Series of BotBots, Clogstopper changes from a toilet plunger into a small robot and back.

He was available in the blindpacked portion of one of the "Sugar Shocks" 5-packs, along with Lolly Licks, Ms. Take, Shredder Jack, and Sippy Slurps.

This mold was also used to make Dingledeedoo and Goldstopper.

Clogstopper was also also available in one of the "Jock Squad" 8-packs, along with Fit Ness Monster, Fottle Barts, Goob Toob, Grit Sandwood, Laceface, Nrjeez, and Point Dexter.

This pack is a possible "recommended minimum buy" for a complete set of Series 1 BotBots. Grit Sandwood is the only BotBot needed in that pack, but he also appears in another Jock Squad pack where he is also the only BotBot needed in that pack. Yeah it means a bunch of redundant Bots either way, sorry!

Notes

• As revealed in the BotBots Sticker Book, Clogstopper was lost from the Toilet Troop.
• His name may be a play on "clodhopper", an older slang term for a clumsy, awkward person.
• Clogstopper's static art depicts different coloring and appearance then his toy. He has brown "skin", grey chest, and the red parts on the toy are more orangish. His facial features also show a grey patch over his left eye and a bit of an underbite with a tooth sticking out.
• While Clogstopper appears in the double page spread and has a collector card with his fellow Lost Bots in the Lost Bots storybook, he does not actually appear in the story at all.
