Trakkon

So… what exactly is "Trakkon" supposed to mean?

The Trakkons are a Decepticon subgroup from the Generation 1 and Generation 2 portions of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Trakkons are a Decepticon duo armed with large gun platforms that can be mounted on their alternate modes. They consist of:

• Calcar
• Fearswoop

The Trakkons' counterparts on the Autobot team are the Lightformers.

Released towards the end of the European Generation 1 toyline, the Trakkons share a large artillery platform gimmick with the Lightformers. These platforms use a combination of light-piping and gears to simulate two beams of laser fire striking your target if you look through their targeting scopes. They can either mount on their owners in vehicle mode or use a fold-down stand to be manned by their robot modes.

The Trakkons were repackaged for Generation 2, identical to their original releases other than being packaged on Generation 2-themed blister cards instead of in boxes.
