This article is about the BotBot. For the human, see Frankenstein.
Dr. Flaskenstein is a member of the Science Alliance from BotBots.
Just a heads up: We're gonna have a superconductor turned up full blast and pointed at you for the duration of this next test. I'll be honest, we're throwing science at the wall here to see what sticks. No idea what it'll do.

Sure, some bots may think it was energon power that brought them to life, but Dr. Flaskenstein knows the truth. This mad scientist bot is certain (mostly) that it was one of their chemical concoctions that was responsible for the creation of the Botbots, even if nobody else believes it, what with it being, you know, temporally impossible. In order to prove themselves right and have their genius recognized, the doctor has embarked on a series of experiments on non-bot objects, hoping to replicate the effects. The only part of science they don't like? Having Eye-Goon as a lab-partner.

Toys

BotBots

Gentlemen, behold!
  • Science Alliance (5-pack, 2020)
    • Series: 4
    • Level: 1 Star
Part of the fourth series of BotBots, Dr. Flaskenstein transforms from a chemical flask into a robot and back.
He is available in all three of the "Science Alliance"-themed 5-packs:
The first set has Incog-Eggo, Peels the Monkey, and Starscope, with Mr. Business Esquire inside the blindpacked portion.
The second has Aday, Loadoutsky, and Starscope, with blindpacked Windbag.
The third has Doc Kit, Eye-Goon, and Grandma Crinkles, with blindpacked Lunchador.
This mold was also used to make Dr. Fraud.
You need to buy one of the first two of these sets (with Flaskenstein and Starscope) in the "recommended minimum buy" setup for a complete set of Series 4 BotBots. It doesn't really matter which, as Flaskenstein and Starscope are the only two Bots not obtained from other sets.

Notes

  • Dr. Flaskenstein is mistransformed in the "Get Ready, Get Set..." stop motion short, with the parts that form his "lab coat" flipped upside down as huge shoulder pads.
