Bonz-Eye

Bonz-Eye takes everything very seriously. Maybe too seriously. Okay, definitely too seriously. This katana-wielding warrior lives by a code of secrecy so secret that she never tells anyone that she lives by a code of secrecy. She puts incredible value in her physical skills, and guards her emotions fiercely under a veneer of utter calmness and sardonic wit.

Lost Bots!
Bonz-Eye decided to join Dimlit's group of Lost Bots on their quest to see if there were tribes out there where they fit in better.
As the group visited various stores in the mall, Dimlit and Bonz-Eye went to the home-and-garden store as they thought it might be where they fit best. They realized the Shed Heads weren't for them after Rootwing and Slobber Rock invited them to go outside to garden, since they're indoor bots.
Bonz-Eye later returned with the other Lost Bots to Lost and Found, where all the Lost Bots played together. Lost Bots!

Bonz-Eye was originally a potted bonsai tree for sale inside a home and garden shop, but somehow ended up in the mall's Lost and Found department. Later, she was brought to robotic life by the mysterious energon cloud that gave rise to the BotBots, and ended up as one of the Lost Bots, who stayed in the Lost and Found, unseen by humans and other BotBots alike. Lone Bot and Carb
She "greeted" Burgertron when the lost Hunger Hubs member found himself in the Lost and Found, and by "greeted" we mean "attacked him with her sword". Though she was wary of the stranger, his tales of hundreds of other BotBots divvied up into themed squads where everyone had a place to belong piqued her interest and need to figure out her past, and joined him and the other Lost Bots in their first outing into the wider mall. She played lookout for the hideous flesh creature that threatened the BotBots' very existence... and quickly determined that the being was no threat, being impossibly unaware of the loud electronic train the Lost Bots had hijacked. The creature (Dave) eventually noticed when the train made it up the escalator to the upper-floor food court, and the Bots changed to their "disguised" modes to prevent detection, having been warned about the Sacred Rule of the Mall prior, aware the flesh being must never know the little bots exist. Unfortunately, Burgertron transformed into a burger, and Dave immediately moved to consume the free food he'd found. Dimlit leapt to smack Burgertron out of Dave's grasp, and in this brief moment of distraction, Bonz-Eye and the other Lost Bots jumped from the train to find a new hiding place. Dave left to return the train to the lower floor, and as he did, the other BotBots revealed themselves to Burgertron and the Lost Bots, having seen everything. The Sacred Rule broken, Burgertron was kicked from his squad, and the other squads shunned the newcomers. Now five in number, the Lost Bots returned to the Lost and Found, believing they could repair their reputation and re-join the other BotBots in time. Mall Than Meets the Eye
Bonz-Eye grew to realize that while the other Lost Bots each had a squad they felt they "belonged" to, she couldn't think of any that felt right to her. Overhearing Burgertron talking about the "Dark Side of the Mall", she figured that such a mysterious and supposedly-dangerous place was surely where a squad of mighty warriors like herself would live, so she set off on her own to investigate. At first she only found dimly-lit stores, one of which had a number of irrationally creepy dolls whose distressing voiceboxes were way too easy to set off, totally weirding her out. Even weirder, Dave had arrived at his favorite bench in the mall in the Dark Side's main hall, and prepared to post a picture of himself enjoying a tasty expensive macaron he'd bought... a macaron that turned out to be Lady Macaron from the Sugar Shocks! Bonz-Eye quickly set off the dolls, which set Dave off into a paralyzing panic as he flashed back to the horrors of Clown Camp, and Bonz-Eye rushed to Macaron's rescue. But it turned out Macaron didn't want rescuing, and with a stream of insults, set off to explore the Dark Side despite the dangers. Bonz-Eye was forced to both distract Dave and pull Macaron away from the various temptations, eventually ending up in the very store where she had first been for sale, now empty and decrepit. The somber sight of the abandoned bonsai tree display made her realize that there was no squad where she "belonged", that she was one of a kind, a discovery that gave even the sardonic Lady Macaron pause. Determined still to get Macaron back to her store safely, Bonz-Eye pushed a tray of stale pastries from a cart into the main path, having long learned Dave's eat-and-sleep habits, and the two snuck out while a pastry-sated Dave snored away on his favorite bench. Back at the candy shop, a now-serious and softer Lady Macaron explained that she had let herself be bought because she wanted to get away from the rest of her squad for a few, and that being alone didn't have to be a bad thing. Bonz-Eye returned to the Lost and Found, greeted warmly by her fellow Lost Bots, and mused on her future. Lone Bot and Carb

Kikmee, worried that her friend was bottling up her emotions to an unhealthy degree, proposed Bonz-Eye try some angry scream-song karaoke, courtesy of karaoke-bot Snorg. Though initially reluctant and only willing to do so if no-one else was in the booth with her (save Snorg, who promised he could keep a secret), she had a go at it. She really, really had a go at it. But as cathartic as unleashing all her negative energy was, it had the horrible outcome of transferring into Snorg's circuits, turning him into a howling-mad, sonic-blasting monster! Commandeering Dave's Scootmobile, Snorg went on a rampage in the food court, and the situation got even worse for the Lost Bots when Snorg began playing back Bonz-Eye's vented frustrations over her fellow Lost Bots, much to the mingled horror and amusement of the other BotBots. Both Kikmee and Bonz-Eye tried to apologize to each other, and both realized that Bonz-Eye did have a way to set things right again, by doing what she does best (besides be a sweet super-skilled silent-shadow sword-swinger): managing her emotional balance. Grabbing Snorg's microphone, Bonz-Eye picked a soft tune and sang a song of apology to her dear friends and of her need to better handle her emotions (she didn't sing well, but she tried, y'all). The positive vibes returned Snorg to his usual easygoing self, though Bonz-Eye quickly threatened him that he should never reveal her weaknesses or there would be consequences. Rage Against the Karaoke Machine
Still "in" somewhat with Lady Macaron and the Sugar Shocks, Bonz-Eye got them to host a tea party with the goal of teaching the Lost Bots some etiquette. Unfortunately, Clogstopper proved unteachable, if not anti-teachable, and the whole thing ended in disaster and the Lost Bots slunk away before things could get even worse. Bonz-Eye awkwardly held her tongue in the ensuing argument between Clogstopper and Burgertron, and seeing no help from his "friends", the plunger-bot took his leave. The following night, the Lost Bots were shocked to hear that Clogstopper had been "scanned out" (bought by a human and taken from the mall. They held an impromptu service for their departed friend, Bonz-Eye contributing a frog keychain she had won with remarkable ease in a meditation competition with him, dropping it in one of the mall's commodes for a symbolic burial at sea. Which then backed up and overflowed thanks to the stuff they'd dropped in, soaking them all. But it turned out Clogstopper had been returned to the mall, making him an instant celebrity with the other BotBots who desperately wanted to know how he was able to "defeat" the humans. Now with tons of attention lavished upon him, he snubbed his former squadmates and their attempts to talk to him fell on deaf ears... until he then blew it by subjecting everyone to his multi-hour one-bot puppet show, and everyone bailed on him, save the Lost Bots. Notes
- The BotBots Official Sticker Book notes Bonz-Eye is a lost member of the Shed Heads. However, the BotBots cartoon has her as a Lost Bot without an "original" squad to belong to, the store she came from having shut down and emptied out before the BotBots were brought to life.
- In the cartoon, her sword is formed from the small red flag posted in her alt-mode's planter-box.
