Yukikaze (BW)

- The Yukikaze is a Maximal starship from the Beast Wars II portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Yukikaze (ユキカゼ) is the Maximal starship commanded by the Supreme Commander Lio Convoy. The Yukikaze's onboard computer is the sweet-natured NAVI.
The Yukikaze is equipped with several smaller, terrestrial shuttles to transport the Maximals across the planet's surface. It is also equipped with an operational cloaking mechanism that projects a hologram around the perimeter of the ship, making it appear to be an unassuming rock formation.
Fiction
Beast Wars II cartoon
Lio Convoy and his crew of Maximals used the Yukikaze to chase Galvatron and his Predacons on board the Galvaburg II across space to Gaia. However, shortly after reaching Gaia, the Yukikaze was damaged and rendered unable to achieve space flight. The Maximals made the stranded Yukikaze their base of operations on Gaia.

Notes
- The name "Yukikaze" (written in kanji as 雪風) literally translates to "snowy wind" in Japanese. It's commonly used in anime for everything from jets to spaceships to snow-cone makers.
